Meet Our Director – Dominic

We are delighted to introduce Dominic, the Director of our new preschool centre. With a career in Early Childhood Education that began in 2019, Dominic brings a wealth of experience, passion and a deep commitment to high-quality early learning.

Dominic’s teaching journey has taken him across rural New South Wales, Sydney, and internationally in Oslo, Norway, giving him a broad understanding of early childhood settings, programs, and communities. His work across these environments has strengthened his expertise in key areas of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)—including supporting children’s sense of identity, fostering belonging, encouraging confident learning, and building strong community connections.

With a strong understanding of how children learn as unique individuals, Dominic prioritises creating a safe, nurturing, and curiosity-rich environment where every child feels empowered to explore, discover, and grow. His leadership style reflects the EYLF principles of secure relationships, inclusive practices, and learning through play.

Outside the classroom, Dominic brings another dimension to his leadership through his extensive involvement in women’s Rugby Union, which he has coached for the past eight years. His dedication to developing players—from introducing newcomers to supporting athletes who have gone on to represent their countries—demonstrates his strength in mentorship, guidance, and community-building.

We are excited for you to meet Dominic and warmly welcome him into our preschool community. His experience, values, and commitment to children’s learning will play an integral role in shaping a thriving, supportive environment for all children’s and families.

We’d love to hear from you!

We’re here to support your family’s learning journey

Acknowledgment of Country

Bunji Kids acknowledges the Barkindji People as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, learn, and play. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and recognise the strength, resilience, and wisdom of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The word Bunji means ‘friend’ in several Aboriginal languages. While it’s not from the local Barindji language, it reflects our values of friendship, belonging and respect for all cultures. At Bunji Kids, every child is valued, every voice is heard, and every culture is celebrated.
